Step 1:
Following your contact, an initial assessment of
your needs is undertaken. I begin any research into
specialist subjects that are required for building the site
and gather information on any content you already have.. |
Step 2:
An initial plan is submitted to you for your
approval. This includes a rough representation of the
proposed site map, the structure of the folders and a quick
"mock-up" of the design to be used. |
Step 3:
The home
page layout is loosely designed in HTML for your approval and the
general page titles are presented to you for consideration.
The categories or sections of site content are grouped for
even distribution of content. |
Step 4:
The site is constructed with the various content
that you provide and a beta version of your web is uploaded
to a test site location I provide.
At this stage the site
is tested for browser compatibility and user friendliness. |
Step 5:
Your assessment and thoughts about the site are
reviewed and any changes that are required are made. Meta
tags for search engine promotion are inserted into each
page, based upon what will get your site into the top search
results for viewers to find. |
Step 6:
After the final payment has been made, the site is
uploaded to your choice of hosting provider and double
checked that all is well. The very last stage is to submit
the site to at least the top 10 major search engines and
also request "link-backs" from other sites that will improve
your popularity. |
